Program Management and
Delivery of Instruction
While conducting tutoring sessions our staff is required to comply with the following:
Program Management
- Provider's staff is present BEFORE the delivery of services and assumes responsibility for students until tutoring begins.
- Tutor is wearing official SES identification Badge.
- The appropriate tutor/student ratio as indicated on the SLP is maintained.
- Time for snacks, breaks, or incentives is provided outside of the contracted time for the tutoring session.
- Are procedures in place for the delivery of services if the tutor is not present?
- Provider's staff assumes responsibility for students AFTER the delivery of services and remains until all participants are picked up by an authorized person.
Delivery of Instruction
- Students are appropriately supervised during instructional time.
- The tutor is prepared and begins instruction on time.
- Instructional materials are available and are matched to the needs/level of the students.
- The tutor continues to provide instruction throughout the contracted time for he tutoring session.
- Instruction and instructional materials used are available by the provider are secular, neutral, and non-ideological.
- The tutoring session is focused on instruction and the tutor uses appropriate instructional strategies which are matched to the needs of the students, as stated on the SLPs.
